Ubuntu Open Week: Ubuntu Community Learning Project

I gave a session in today’s launch day of Ubuntu Open Week. My session was to introduce people to the Ubuntu Community Learning Project which is a project in the ‘sprout’ stage. I have to say that the session was fantastic.

  • The team had been debating how to license the content… in the audience today was a person who works for Creative Commons
  • The team is trying to recruit a curriculum writer to help with developing the first course… and a person involved with another open curriculum project offered advice and guidance

If you have a project and want to get it exposed to the community so that it grows – Ubuntu Open Week is the medium for doing so.

Thanks to Jorge Castro and Jono Bacon!!

Thanks to all the Canonical employees and everyone in the community for making Ubuntu possible!
