BarCamp4: Rochester

This was my first BarCamp… and I had planned on doing a basic presentation on migrating to Free Software. It became painfully obvious as the participants introduced themselves that my talk was not going to be ‘on target’. Despite the plethora of Mac laptops they were all very aware of open source options and products. luckily I ended up being the last person to introduce myself and I decided to modify my topic to how to ‘convert’ your friends to Free Software. Despite my attempt at a deft change in topics I ended up with only two participants at my presentation.
